Goat Song

There was a man
And he had a goat.
He loved that goat
Just like a kid.
One day that goat
Got frisked and fried.
Ate three red shirts
Right off the line.
The angry man
Took him by the neck
And tied him to
The railroad track.
The whistle blew
As the train grew near.
That poor old goat
Was doomed to die.
He heaved a sigh
Of awful pain
And choked up three red shirts
And flagged the train, .
Flagged the train. . TOOT'
TOOT.'
