Round table reading is a special time in our classroom.  We sit at the U-shaped table and read together.  On Mondays we complete the Weekly Reader, on Tuesdays we being working on AlphaTales.  Each week we learn about a new letter and discover a new friend with the AlphaTales series.  On Wednesday of each week we have a special Round Table reading day where the children make their own mini AlphaTales books and we read them together.  On Thursday and Friday the children use their own copies of the AlphaTales books and read along with Mrs. Wood.  Our reading skills be also be focusing on learning the preschool set of Dolch site words.  Visit our site words page to learn more.
