Flower Frenzy Try It

(Brownies must do at least 4 requirements to earn this try-it)

1. Find out about your state’s flower and three other states.

2. What kind of flowers grow in your community and are popular in Winter? Summer? Spring? Fall? Is it an annual or perennial?

3. Draw a picture of your favorite flower or design your own flower. Name and label the parts.

4. Make a craft using flowers as your main theme out of paper, fun foam, beads, clay, etc.

5. Decorate and design the perfect flower pot or box to grow or display your flowers.

6. Give a flower that you have grown, brought or made to someone to cheer them up and brighten their day or donate flower gifts to a nursing home.

7. Find a career that involves the use of flowers and the educational requirements and see if you would be interested in it.

8. Grow a flower from a seed or a cutting.

9. Make an origami flower
