Whether you are new
to the web or an experienced surfer, the idea of having your own website is
sure to raise a few questions. I have done my best to cover as many as
I could think of, but please feel free to
email me with questions not covered here,
or if you want something explained better.
How will I pay you?
I currently only accept
payment through PayPal. When you request services a down payment will
be required.
Why are your services so affordable when
other companies charge hundreds of dollars?
I am an individual, not a
company. I don't pay anyone else and I don't pay for advertising.
My costs are low and yours should be too.
How long until my website is ready?
Designing a site usually
takes less than a week. If you need graphics created for your site it
may take a little longer. A basic package site will take about 3 days
to complete.
How will you create my site?
I create all of my
websites using FrontPage.
How will I receive my site?
I can upload your site
for you, free of charge, if you choose one of my recommended hosts. I
will also send you a file with back up of your site.
What if the server crashes and I loose my site?
I will send you a backup of your site when I
build it. If you choose a maintenance package, I will also keep a copy
of your site on my computer for updates.
I want a special page just for members
of our group, can you do this?
Yes! I can add a
password gate to your site and only the people you give a password to can
access that page.
Many artists require special scripts on
my pages, do you provide these?
Yes, all of the pages I
create are built with the "no right click", "no image bar", and "no drag"
scripts already in place. If you need a page without these scripts, I
can easily do that as well.
Do I have to use your graphics to get a
website?
No, I would be happy to
build you a website using your choice of images. I can also provide a
sampling of great graphics for you to choose from, just contact me.
Do you host the sites you design?
No, not at this time.
I would like a free web host, who do you
recommend?
Geocities by Yahoo.
It's really easy to set up an account with them, and I can provide site
updates for you very easily.
I don't want any ads on my site, what
kind of hosting can I get?
