Awards - The Power of One, The
Power of Team, and the Power of Community
The Power of One/The Power of Story - through tales, girls understand the
power of a story and its role in a community. They explore the "HERstory" of
heroines. (Discover)
The Power of Team - this is the team building part of the Journey. Girls
practice teaming up and creating a comic book style story based on steps for
taking action. (Connect)
The Power of Community - the girls will implement their plan and get the
community involved. (Take Action)
Girls earn the three awards as they journey from the Power of One, to the
Power of the Team to the Power of the Community
